We’ve got new SoCal dates scheduled, and a new addition to the Bikeskill SoCal Team is announced! For more info, read on!
Pro rider Richie Schley will be taking over the Trail Riding Clinic for Smokin’ Joe Lawwill this season. After 10 years of training people to ride the world renowned Whistler Bike Park, Richie Schley, free-ride pioneer and mountain bike legend has brought his program to Southern California’s best trails to share some of his skills with you.
He’ll share his fluid style and riding knowledge with intermediate level riders on Saturday, April 14th. For this clinic, you should be very comfortable with all of the basics like shifting and braking to feeling fit enough to tackle a few stout hills, both up and down. Bring a mountain bike and helmet, plus 98 bucks to cover the cost.
Bob Loeffler will be continuing in his role as the teacher of all things basic to mountain biking, like the above mentioned shifting, braking, climbing and descending, as well as cornering, bike set-up, rider position, and a host of other little nuances that put the fun in to mountain biking. The course for this clinic will be relatively short (about 6 miles) and level. But we’ll throw some obstacles in there to get your attention!
The New Rider/Beginner Clinics will be on Sunday, April 22nd; Sunday April 29th, and Sunday, May 13th. For these clinics, all you’ll need is a mountain bike, helmet, a willingness to learn the right way, and a sense of humor! And a check for only 59 bucks.
As in the past, we’ll be hosting all of the clinics at Aliso Woods Canyons Wilderness Park in Laguna Niguel, CA. make sure you have a credit card or cash for the parking meter (3 bucks).
Clinic hours are from 8 AM ’till about noon or so. Although clinics are kept to a maximum of about 8 riders (and a minimum of 3),we also offer individual and group private clinics. So if you’d like our undivided attention for you or you and your riding buds, let us know.
And ladies, we do offer women’s only clinics; these are set up on “as needed” basis so give us a shout. For more information contact or email Bob Loeffler. 949. 285. 9656
