Trail Riding Clinics

Our Trail Riding Clinics are currently set up into two categories: Trail Riding and New Rider Day Clinics. Our clinics are designed to optimize your comfort level in order to maximize your fun.

Trail Riding Clinics

Trail Riding

The primary goal we had in mind for our all-mountain trail riding clinics was simple: teach people how to get more out of their mountain biking experiences.

Over the years, we’ve noticed that many, even veteran mountain bikers either lack the skills, confidence, or don’t have the proper equipment to be one with the trail.

We can help get you going in the right direction or just get back on track if you’re just getting back into the sport. From bike set-up to on the trail critiques and demos, we promise you will be a more confident better rider after just one clinic! (clinics can be repeated to learn additional skills and expand your riding skill set)

Our NorCal Spring program is currently in the works, with clinics planned at Camp Tamarancho in Marin. The trails at Tamarancho are rated intermediate and above, and offer a broad spectrum of trail surfaces – from root infested tread to rock gardens, it is all single track trail, ideal for honing skills.

Rudimentary Rider Clinics:

Whether you’ve been riding for a day or a year, the Rudimentary Rider Day clinic is designed for anyone who needs to pick up (or brush up) on basic riding skills. The course will focus on the fundamentals of mountain biking: basic bike set-up, rudimentary riding techniques including climbing, descending, cornering, braking and shifting, plus trail essentials like repairs, etiquette and equipment selection.

The class will begin with an in-depth discussion followed by on-trail instruction and practical application. Participants can expect about an hour of shade-tree seminar, with about 2+ hours of fire road and singletrack fun. The ride is about 6 miles of mostly level trails, during which one-on-one instruction, critique and safety is emphasized. Plan on a minimum of 3 hours, and expect a little overtime.

Class size will be limited to a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 4 riders.

Come out and gain the confidence to ride better, faster and safer!

Life is short… ENJOY THE RIDE!
