SRT: Intro to Flow
Skill Level: Experienced to Intermediate
Coaches: Jason Van Horn (lead) & Inga Beck (assisting)
Intro to Flow: We’ll start with body position (the attack & the neutral position) before moving on to Pressure Control, and how to apply it to pumping rollers and in turns. We’ll then take the skills to the trails, practicing on flow trails like Laura’s Loop and Hide and Seek. Also covered: Maneuvers – front and rear wheel lifts, intro to the j-hop and intro to the manual.
Session also includes demonstrations and discussion on bike set up, rider critiques and trail ride with numerous demonstrations. Riders must bring a helmet, water and a clean mountain bike in good working order. Clinic is limited to 8 riders with a minimum of 3. Energy food provided courtesy of our sponsor, Clif Bar.
