Bikeskills’ Craig Sorensen Set To Make Some Noise at the 2009 Sea Otter Classic in Monterey

April 7, 2009 by robhoward Leave a Comment

Look For Craig Over Laguna Seca at 11:45 a.m. on Friday!!!

Remember This Guy and This Jet at Last Year’s Sea Otter Event? If you were at the SOC last year on Friday, I’ll bet you do!  It’s Cmdr Craig Sorensen of the Navy’s Fighter Pilot Adversary school, VFC-13, in a F-5E.  Craig’s all set for a repeat performance….

Bikeskills advisor Cmdr Craig Sorensen USN not only flew in to Monterey, but after parking his jet, came over to the Bikeskills Ridezone for a visit. That’s him, the tall guy, in the middle of the crowd sporting the flight suit.

The business office in Craig’s machine. Ironically, this is about as simple as it gets in tactical aircraft. The jets at the VFC-13 Saints Adversary school havee a relatively simple task, which is to turn good pilots in to great ones. Adversary pilots are all about skills.

How about a little action? Here’s what Craig does for a living. The Speed and Angels reference at the beginning of the video are the pilot’s speed and altitude. The rest you can figure out for yourself.
