Too Much Rain and Snow to Ride? How About Some Skiskills?

And who better to teach them than Olympic Gold Medalist, National and World Champion – not to mention Bikeskills board member and Santa Cruz Blur riding – Jonny Moseley? Read on to learn more about this in-progress video and the relationships between Skiskills, Surfskills, and Bikeskills.

A year ago or so, Jonny set out to check out a couple of off-shoots of the mountain biking scene. The first stop was at Mark Weirs’ to see what all talk about Pump Tracks was about.

Next up it was off to the jumps – something Jonny knows a lot about – to check out the dirt jumping scene.

And here’s a blast from the past that made some news: Jonny’s “dry land training” video. Having worked “the holes” myself a few times, I can tell you three things: it’s hard, I have no idea of how Jonny could do them so fast, and wow did it help my conditioning for skiing bumps!
