Check out Bikeskills Greg Watts captured by our Jeremy Teman and the new Sanyo Xacti Dual Cam. Sanyo’s new combination video/still cameras are pretty amazing. In video mode, the Xacti shoots full 1080P HD and has an array of modes including slow-motion at up to 600 frames/second. As a still camera, 12MP resolution delivers very nice images and with 12 frames/second sequence mode, it’s perfect for high-speed action sports like mountain biking, skiing… there’s even a waterproof model you can take surfing with you! Who knows, the Xacti might be that Xmas present you were thinking about….

In the photo above, Walt captures our man Chuck at the bottom of a massive Shark Park wave. Next up in Getting the Shot: how to take images that highlight speed and movement. And don’t forget to click on the image above to see it really fill up your screen!
Fall is probably our favorite time of year to ride. It’s definitely our favorite time to pack our cameras on rides. And there are few more impressive goods than “the panorama.” Walt Denson will give you the basics so you too can “Get the Shot.”
